8 days and counting to be exact.
She only has 3 1/2 days of school left. I wonder how that is hitting her?
Ok, the above is a lie now. See this is how far behind in any work I am. I can’t even get a personal post out about all the shit that is on my brain. It’s 11:30pm on the 31st. I’m counting today dun fer. We now have 6 days until graduation and 2 1/2 days of school. GOOD GRIEF!
Hello and welcome to me falling, no being pushed, out of my denial. I don’t like it here.
I’m not a happy girl when I’m pushed out of my amazing yacht on the river denial. In fact, I get really pissy and I’m going to come off my yacht swinging. So here I am, off my yacht and in the ghetto with everyone else.
There are many more than 5 things not to do during your daughter’s senior year, but I’m going to start with these 5 or I may never actually get it posted.
This holiday is not one of my favorites. In fact, it could be my least favorite. Even behind Valentine’s day and that’s saying a lot. There’s this huge media hype and unrealistic expectations are set for what to expect on this day. No matter what happens, it seems like there are so many women that are disappointed. Especially my friends that can’t have kids or are trying. It’s like a big slap in the face.
I went shopping yesterday with the youngest and grabbed some flowers so my pots don’t look so sad this year. I even got them planted, which is a huge step around here. They are now my Mother’s Day present to myself it looks like. Glad I did it.
We got luckier than I could have hoped. Prom landed on B shift and we didn’t know ahead so he didn’t get it off. BUT, he was able to come home for a couple of hours when her boyfriend picked her up. That was awesome that we knew he could at least see her in person when she was all dolled up.
