I work full time at my own business and am a single Mom most days while hubby is training or on 24 hour shifts. Here is where I will bitch, vent, cheer, and share all things. Nothing is very sacred here. lol If you are easily offended, I don't suggest sticking around.
Well this is the unofficial birthday of my blog. Unfortunately I had some hosting issues along the way, but I do believe that I started my original blogger blog on sept. 9, 2004. That is the earliest post I have pulled into this WP.
What a lot has changed since then. This is yet another reason why I love blogging. I can go back through my posts and look at just how much has changed. Here are some SUPER major changes in the 4 years.

Is there anything sexier than a man that cooks and cleans? Be honest, a man pushing a vacuum is HOT. Clean my toilets and dude, I am yours. ROFLMAO
Now that hubby’s job is so different, so is our home life. I tried to help him, but he is in the kitchen happily making me fresh salsa for our tortilla chips. We’re watching football and we bought all these fresh ingredients to make it tonight. I told him I’d help, even got up and stood by him to show him I was serious. lol But he’s into it and on his own. HOT, hot, hot. lol
Wow, it’s impressive that this Vice pres nominee just keeps getting more and more like a soap opera every day. So it was too much for me not to pass up commenting on about Palin’s slashing the teen funding that includesteen pregnancy help by 20%. You can read more about it at the Washington Post.

This season I am hoping for Ollie or Dan to win. Ollie is just such a good person and beside what Keesha says, I like April. I’d love to see them get together. Dan has just played a great game. Reny is someone in real life I’d probably like, but in true reality show fashion they have only showed her annoy the crap out of everyone! Hate when they show us how they want everyone to be portrayed.

It’s been a month today since our chief passed away and at times it’s much easier. We had our best friend over this weekend and hubby lost it again. Of course when you are talking to your long time best friend about it (like he needed to dang it) then it pulls everything back up. Especially when his best friend worries about him just like I do.
So we’re putting it all together. Life is in perspective. All our stupid stuff that we were fighting over before it happened, honestly does not matter anymore. It’s hard to even remember the petty things that seemed important then.
Yes, I am native and yes I am so damn proud of it, it makes me cry. My Great-grandma came from Vancouver Island as a little girl when her parents passed away and my Great-grandfather’s family took her in. I come from a long line of compassion and caring for others that are not your blood.
Monday I decide we should take Dad’s mind off of the death of our chief. Let’s go see the Dark Knight. OMG, wrong choice! I had no idea there would be so many deaths of the police dept. I lost it. Not only did they have the funeral procession and everyone in their blues like I will see next week, but the car pulled up in front of the cops house to tell his wife. Damn it don’t do that!
I have waited to post this because I just couldn’t be civil about it. It’s been a few days and the emotions are welling up. This is my personal blog and it needs to be used as such.
We went to a friends house on Sat. night and were having a great time. Lots of people partied extra hard. I however drank myself silly with real pepsi and diet pepsi. Not the norm and it was fun freaking people out. lol Anyway, I let people drive home that said they were ok and I had slight doubts, but only slight.
