I don’t have a lot of choice. Eating red meat really hurts my system. I’ll eat burgers at home when hubby can make them small for me and I know the fat content of the burger. The organic, homegrown meat, yada-yada. It’s not because it’s organic it’s because I can’t take all the filler and fat. Otherwise, it’s not worth it.
I have been eating chicken sandwiches for years because I liked them but now I eat them even more because they don’t kill my digestive system. I especially love anything with avocado and some bacon. I’m not supposed to have the bacon but it’s on my list of must haves for the last few months. Some things are just worth a little pain.
FYI, I’m addicted to french fries and the picture above is the jojo potatoes I make often. No frying necessary so you can drop the guilt. Since they are made pretty healthy, I have the recipe up on my health and fitness blog.
