Ah I must be such a chump, haha. Good advice here. It was my damn mom who kept complaining about my cursing actually. Not that she cares usually. I curse all I want and she never says a thing. It’s just that she views my site as like my brand/business so it should be “professional”. And so it wasn’t for kids that I softened it for, but for adults and to just generally be more accessible. It was for the kids that I WANTED to write more like I talk. Anyway, I didn’t pop out the womb blogging or whatever, but I sound more myself every time, so this is another push…

It depends on your target audience as well.
Mine are all grown ups so words like fuck and crap are pretty well in (or should be) the Oxford Dictionary.

We’re all big boys and girls so a little risque language is more than OK.

That’s my $0.02c worth anyway.

Then why are you doing it? You do realize that you are paying for the hosting space right? That people are following you, reading you because it is you? I get if you let it go here and there to test it out. I’m old & started blogging before the world even got online lol But if you let it fly here and there, where you normally would in conversation then I wonder what would happen?

I get that Adam. I have a lot of posts rocking in my head right now after chatting on twitter. Crazy thing is I grew up with a great, killer family. But we’re all going to counciling for something lol My hubby barely uses the “f” word, I’ve been lucky the kids haven’t yet at 16 & 14 but if I don’t use it daily the world has collapsed. Not proud but not ashamed either
