But hubby started getting worried cause I truly have the traveling bug now. I booked this trip and we researched and got such great deals. We can easily do that now for trips and his schedule allows for it. We won’t be this young forever and we deserve this time to play now that some money is coming in. I just have to keep my income up so we can continue to play. I’d prefer my income goes up to the level I WANT and then we can play even more.

But we are sitting well. We have jobs with security. I have my businesses in a good place both online and off. And I continue to grow my biz’s each month. We have worked hard to get to this point and we have scraped by on so many occasions. We have earned our vacations and we truly appreciate every second of them. I think we appreciate them much more than those around us that have traveled a lot in their 20′s. We were having babies then and there was no money and no way we were leaving them even if we did have the money.

But that is not all.  My Aunt’s hubby, can’t call him uncle personally as he’s only 10 years older and I was an adult when they got together.  We’ve had a blast going to USC campus, hollywood and then beverly hills!  I’m ready to hit hollywood again because I’m trashy and want my pic taken with Capt. Jack!

Tomorrow we are off to Catalina Island super early, ugh but worth it we hear.  lol  Then we will probably do to the tourist crap and actualy stop this time.  lol  It was USC parent weekend  and the town is busy.  Just our luck, we’d hit Seattle on this weekend as well.  Too funny!

This is amazing.  We are in such an incredible spot.  It’s safe enough to send my kids (13 & 10) down to the pier on their own.  My Aunt is just as strict as I am and has been a foster parent for years so she is sometimes more strict than I.  I’m excited to send the kids down to the video games by themselves.  R U Kidding em?  We can see them from the balcony, but they will think they are so cool and big kids.  lol

So much to post, so little time.  I WILL catch up.  lol  NIGHT all!

Laundry is almost done, dishes are caught up and ready to go after breakfast dishes are put in.  It’s only 10:30 here but I think I’m off to bed so I can get up early in the morning and finish everything up.  Our good friend is living with his mom right now since the divorce (still making house payments while she lives there, another post, lol) so he’s going to house sit next week and take care of the dogs.  Hunting season opens in the morning so I’m also going to have the teenager come over during the day and weekend while he’s at work and hunting.  I’m still stressing out about leaving my babies behind, but it has to be done.    I’m going to miss them lots.

My Aunt’s bday is Monday and she has booked for us to go to Catalina Island.  Looks gorgeous and EXPENSIVE.  Yikes.  We are only bringing carry-ons so no room for dress clothes.  Then we will get to knottsberry farm on one day and hopefully a touristy trip to LA.  We’d like to check out USC and some other places around.

I got a cool new laptop bag on clearance at target.  Only $9.84 and it fits my huge laptop.  woohoo, will bring that with so I can blog at the end of some days or early mornings.  I needed a bag anyway and I just couldn’t go 8 days without my computer.  lol  So when I was picking up books, magazines and snacks and saw the bag I knew I had to grab it.

I’m not packed, but I doubt it takes me too long.  I’m not picky and thankfully my Aunt and I aren’t that different in size.  I’m sure I can wear her stuff down there if needed.  lol Look for awesome fun posts to come.  OMG, so excited to go on vacation with my family!

We’re also taking off for the weekend in a couple of weeks.  Were going to the ocean, but I think we may borrow my friends cabin instead.  We are just getting caught up on bills and I really don’t want to go blow a few hundred dollars we could put into savings instead.  Plus then we can bring all the dogs with no problems too.

If it’s by a port, then you can bet there is a cruise that will take you there. There is even a cruise to visit Middle Earth and be a true Lord of the Rings junky. Somewhere warm or somewhere cold, it’s all beautiful and it’s all in a pampered setting. Or at least it is for me when I book a luxury cruise. I’m not going anywhere in basic. lol

They had so much fun. Of course she emailed me pictures of them all cowgirled up. And not only that, but they made a ton of friends while they were there. She even flew most of the way across the country to spend New Year’s with a group of them. Ahh, the single life huh? lol Granted, not worth becoming single for, but I can live through her. lol She texted me from their huge dairy farm and said they were going to put on a team roping show on New Year’s day for everyone. New Year’s and cowboys, not a bad hit. lol

So it’s that time of year already. Wrangler National Finals Rodeo tickets are on sale and I so want to go. We really want to go to Vegas, but we aren’t into gambling. This would be the best reason to go. How much cooler it would be to watch it live instead of on tv. I don’t want to watch on tv again and look for my friend in the audience. And here about all the fun they had dancing until 7am every morning. lol

Last year we caught the final day of the event on tv. Thankfully, because it was so good. Makes you cringe and sit on the edge of your seat. We so much rather be there.

I’m ready to get out of here. Can you tell? My posts have been about here and there and sun. I’d love to go on a snowboard vacation, but right now all I can think of is sun and sand. Right now Africa sounds awesome and I’ve found some cheap flights to Egypt. I’ll have to ask my friend/client if she’s been to Egypt. She is from Swaziland and has of course traveled way more than I have just by coming here to the states. lol

My Mom always wanted to be an archeologist and I wish she would book a trip to Egypt and see the ruins and maybe visit a site, maybe dig a little. You only live once and I’m all about doing anything you’ve always dreamed of. With all of the history in Egypt you just can’t go wrong. Oh and the shopping is to die for!

I know the kids will love going to the San Diego Zoo and I’ve found a great place to pick up discount tickets for the zoo and other attractions. They have other cities to choose from like Savannah, but I’m all over the legoland and harbor tours in San Diego. There’s a super cool Haunted Old Town walking tour for only $16.50 and a haunted ghost tour by bus. I’m so going to hit that with hubby. What fun!

I was so excited to go down there and hang out on the beach of course. But now that I’ve looked at just some of the fun attractions we can visit I’m super excited to get down there. Now to check out other cool tours in different cities.

I came across Rocky Point condo rental in my surfing and I’ve spent way too long going through their rentals already. The houses are gorgeous. It’s very easy to use. You type in the date of arrival, how many days you will be there and how many occupants. Then when you are surfing around the houses it will show you the price for your stay immediately when the house comes up.

You can search for only houses on the beach if that is important to you. Many of the houses come with more than one master bedroom so I love that. A friend of mine stayed at a house like that with some other families and it worked out really well.

So I’m going to be looking at houses on the Rocky Point condo rental site for quite a while. lol I can’t wait to show hubby all of the gorgeous choices and some of the great deals. Oh and make sure to check out the deals on some of the houses. There are also reviews of some of them so you can hear what others thought of their stay. MEXICO BABY! Next October!

We are going to Cabo next Oct. Our friends just got back and said they are going with us next year. lol Then my Aunt’s bday is the same as Sammy Hagar’s, so they are going with us as well. SWEET!!! I love everyone involved and we are going to have so much fun. But I’m all about saving us money. Why should we all get hotel rooms when we can rent a condo or house together?

One of my clients has booked <a href=”http://www.vlbo.com”>vacation rentals</a> with friends and it went awesome. You just have to know the right people to go with. Last time she even took her 5 year old and a nanny. They honestly had a blast, I got email updates for her fitness and diet. lol

I know if we could find a big condo/house with 4 bedrooms we’d be set. I could get my in-laws to join us as well. I look forward to spreading the good time with other couples that are happily together. What a difference that is!
