One project that is a larger project is my master bath. It had/has carpet. We put a new toilet in and still haven’t finished the floor. It’s time to rip out the carpet and put tile in. Something I have no idea how to do, but honestly, I have the internet so I can learn anything right? I’m not starting with this project though cause that’s just jumping in over my head. I think I’ll start with our little laundry room that just needs paint, reorganizing and some shelving.

We’ve lived here for 13 years now which means quite a few things are in need of upgrading. We were never supposed to live here this long so there are quite a few things that were never personalized. It’s definitely time to look like we live here. We got new furniture a little over a year ago and I painted the main living area. However, I still haven’t gotten things put back on the walls and I’ve had some decor items to put up for years but I was always waiting to paint. Now I can get these things up on the wall.

When I go to the gym the show House Hunters always seems to be on. Either the US one or the International. lol  Kind of odd, but it definitely hasn’t started my little addiction. I got to the point I wasn’t listening to music anymore but had my headphones plugged into the elliptical so I could listen to the show. Hmm, so not very like me. I like my tunes when working out.

Now I know quite a few of the shows I’m watching are just crazy, but you never know where you’ll get ideas from. There are a lot of things you can pull from million dollar homes and put in your little kitchen. Then there are quite a few things I look at and think “what a waste”! Heated drawers for plates and coffee cups? Really? OIY, the thought of that electrical bill hurts my head.

My family is used to my shows taking up the entire DVR but now I have new shows in it.  Here are some of the one’s I’ve recently started recording.

House Hunters
Selling LA – I haven’t watched it yet, the commercials just looked good so we’ll see if this keeps getting recorded.
Selling Spelling Manor – Really enjoying this one. What an emotional roller coaster for Candy Spelling.
Love It or List It – This show is pretty brutal. I like watching it, but no one is very nice to each other and the husband and wife sure seem to end up fighting a lot.

So those are just some new one’s I’m recording. I know there are some others as hubby was laughing at me for going through pretty much all of Monday on the guide and hitting record.

I’m hoping that watching these shows is going to get me motivated to work on my project list.

I was so excited to see what everyone was wearing and watch some fun artists act stupid.  But instead I boycotted them all together.  It’s just not as much fun when most of the country has already talked about it.

I should have known better and checked out what channel it was going to be on.  CBS always does the delay.  My husband says thanks since I didn’t make him watch like planned.

FUCK YOU parents that think you need to parent me. I’m 37 years old and I get to watch whatever I want and choose to watch and listen to what I want. Welcome to America.

So not only am I excited to watch this show. Shatner reminds me of my Dad. Dad doesn’t even try, they could just be brothers I swear. But now I want to go buy the book. Kick ass parent group, you just brought attention to the exact opposite of what you wanted. I didn’t know about Sh*t My Dad Says until they complained and it hit yahoo. I thank you for bringing it to my attention

Brendon is a moron, yes ma’am, gotta have love boy. Man, looks and brawn, some brains for conversation, but obviously only wants boobs in his life. Good for you, this show produced them for you.

I don’t predict who will take BB, never really have. I don’t tend to actually “like” players on it until it’s getting much closer to the end. Liking their bio’s is completely different than liking them after a couple of weeks in the house. Man that house can just break you. But there are always definite people I fucking hate from the beginning. All Rachel had to do was say “HI” and I hated her. Head tilt, fake smile, and fake infliction in the voice. Has no one called her out yet? She’s pretty old not to be told how fake she is. Hilarious thing is that every where I go online they hate her too. I wonder if there has ever been a more hated player on big brother?

Alas, as far as following the books and even the fun theme of the books, it’s a total fail. BUT, if I hadn’t read the books then it is great. I force myself to ignore the fact that it’s so completely different than the books and just enjoy. I was angry after the first season because they changed so much and didn’t have characters look anything like their descriptions in the book. But season 2 is SO different that I’m having an easier time.

I’m on episode 7, I think of season 2. So far they have thrown a lot of stuff in and taken a ton of artistic liberty with the story. But they have thrown a few of the funny spots in from the book.

I just wish they had stuck to the books more as it’s a very funny series. Usually this much rewriting seems to happen because it needed more action, but this isn’t the case. It hasn’t added more action at all, it added more bloody, vampiric gore than was actually in the books.

I’m now enjoying the True Blood series, but it could screw up at any time. Their choice of actor for Eric sucks and by rewriting his character so much they’ve ruined it for me. Sookie and Eric’s relationship is huge later in the series and them screwing up all this early stuff just sucks. They’ve really done a rewrite of Sam’s character as well. Not for the better. Then, don’t get me started on how they’ve changed her brother The Jason in the tv series is NOTHING like the books.

I better leave it at that. Truly, I like both for different reasons and am enjoying the series. However, I’m going to now reread the stackhouse series because I need a good laugh and they are good for that!

This season I am hoping for Ollie or Dan to win. Ollie is just such a good person and beside what Keesha says, I like April. I’d love to see them get together. Dan has just played a great game. Reny is someone in real life I’d probably like, but in true reality show fashion they have only showed her annoy the crap out of everyone! Hate when they show us how they want everyone to be portrayed.

We’re getting close, but the best thing is that Biggest Loser starts soon! The end all, be all in my house. Hubby puts the kids to bed and it’s the only show in the house that does not get watched on tivo. I cry every damn episode! Why do I watch again.

Oh wait, I was talking BB. I LOVE BB. I love my white trashiness. I love making fun of people. It’s human nature. I have no idea how long I’d survive on there. I predict not very long, but I’d love to give it a try.

I grew up with Bo and Hope growing up also. Let alone they now have kids. Then there is Passions with the witches. I know I am stuck on NBC, but I can’t help it, I have issues!

I’m not totaly stuck. I know that The Young and The Restless is another classic. I have hit that one for over 20 years, so I guess that is in my schedule. lol Young and the restless has been on forever and it is no wonder why. When they have characters that work, they are on there forever. I guess Days is trying to take lessons by bringing people back. But you know that Victor is on there no matter what! So there will be drama with the money man.

When you can’t catch up on your favorite soaps check out Soap Operas and see quickly what is going on. I have less time to watch, so I love to go in and see what my favorite characters are up to.

K, that was when I was a baby. Then there was hurrying home from school and the wonderful summers off. Not to mention the summers! That was when all the good stuff happened with the kids my age!

Now I’m watching it and feeling older by the minute. Everyone is back. Jennifer is on of course and Jack keeps coming into her life and dieing again. Then there is the ever hot couple, Bo and Hope. We have the Marleena, John Black, and Roman Brady.

I can’t watch everyday, but I try hard. When I can’t get to the tv, I check out Days of our Lives updates to see what happened! I am feeling old now that Patch and Kayla are back on. If Caliaopy (sp?) would come back on, I swear they would have everyone. I’m also super happy that Frankie is back. I loved Frankie and Jennifer. It was hard to go through the decision of who she should fall for when Jack thought he was going to die. What a jerk for putting her in that position! lmao
