Johnny’s back!

Posted by: queen of all : Category: movies

Oh Johnny, how have I missed you. It’s been forever since this summer when Pirates came out. Thank you so much for bringing the new movie out to end my year right.

Now you can visit the official Sweeney Todd movie site and watch the trailer for one thing. There are links to the Sweeney Todd on MySpace and make them your top friends!

Oh, fun downloads on the site and then wallpaper, profile templates and icons if you go to the confessionals. While at the confessionals you can go and anonymously give your confession! Go read the past confessionals and get a good laugh from some. I like the little bits of evil. I’m all for karma, so when it comes around I definitely want to hear about it.

We can go into the confessional here on my blog. I confess that I have told my kids about the dumb bitch of a “friend” that met her new boyfriend on myspace. I hear now that she is moving to Minnesota with him. WOW. So my confession is that I think my kids know more about the “relationship” than they do. I’ve told them not to talk about it, but you know they will. For one thing I wanted my kids to understand that if I had done this to their father, then they would hear bad things about me from those that cared about their Dad. So when their friends are upset they need to understand why it’s happening and that people aren’t just being mean. But another reason is just pure mean. They are kids and I knew they would talk. I heard that her aunt is telling other people in our small town that it was he that cheated. NOT! So this way it will get around to the kids friends and then to the friends parents. lol yeah, sorry, I’m not usually so petty, but I really hate cheaters!!!

Ahh, that feels better and it’s just here for my limited readership. Visit the Sweeney Todd confessionals and spill your guts on how you’ve gotten revenge. It’s really therapeutic to let the world know what you have done. lol

Tired today

I’m just warn out right now. I have no idea why. I got 7 hours sleep last night and that is more than usual. lol I’m not sure where the day went though and maybe that is part of the deal. Oh wait, hormones are playing a part. DUH, k, I know it now. I can ignore it now. I had diet coke at 3ish, but I guess it’s warn off by now.

Tomorrow is an odd day. I’m gonna go work out first thing in the morning, then come home early. I have quite a few appointments tomorrow and I’m hoping to get some new clients out of the four appointments. I’m going in with the mindset of getting two out of the four to sign up with me. Man do I need the money right now. Car and personal loan are due this weekend and I’m no where near making them!!! YIKES, I hate being stressed out about money.

I’ve got some fun off-shoots coming soon from this blog and I hope to have them completed by the end of this week.

I so need to go download new music on my zune. Guess I’ll go hit that while I blog. Oh and I have Georgia Rule and Delta Force to watch. Oh wait, I’m half way through Black Snake Moon. It’s been pretty good so far. I’m just waiting for the kids to go to bed so I can decide what to do. watch.

Big Brother is on tomorrow night and we are getting down to the wire. Only 4 of them left and one week. Sigh, it’s always so exciting and sad at the same time. I know it will be over, but I can’t wait to see who will win. bahahaha Thank you CBS for putting Survivor on right away so I can get through my withdrawals quicker. I’m looking forward to seeing how Ashley does.

Gwen Stefani

Posted by: queen of all : Category: movies

I knew I was behind on my posts and boy am I. I never even talked about going to Gwennie. How could I be so neglectiful? YIKES, k let’s recap the concert. ;)

Lady Sovereign was incredible! This girl kicks some serious ass! You can check out SOV’s myspace. I prefer the myspace because you don’t need a player to load to listen to her. lol Checked her out in my Zune account and low and behold she has like three albums out. WOOHOO. See the odd thing is, I’m not in to rap. Not a bit, not a smidge. Unless it’s the old school beastie boys or run dmc, can’t stand it. But she’s got some serious old school sound. Plus, she’s just bad ass. Listen to her Love me or Hate me song and tell me that’s not your new anthem Momma’s? You can check it on my myspace if you don’t believe me. And that is the remix with Missy Elliot, it’s not even the good version she sings herself.

It was hilarious to watch my friend. You could tell she was really uncomfortable with the “f” bomb being dropped so much. Oh yeah, well love me or hate me, it’s still an obsession, love me or hate me that is the question, if you love me than fuck you, if you hate me than fuck you! Ba-bing baby! I wanted to go and buy her t-shirt as soon as she was done on stage, but good grief I’d already spent $80 on shirts. lol I hope she comes in concert sometime this fall/winter. You’ve really got to check her out.

Then it was time for Akon. This was the one I was dreading because the crap on his myspace was so slow. I don’t know most pop artists names, I just know some of the songs when I hear them. lol Well we got to the concert and my daughter promptly drops the fact that he sings that “lonely, I’m so lonely” song. HOLY SHIT, I want to gauge out my eyes when I hear that song. bahahaha, so I promptly told our little party they could find me in the beer garden when he came on.

But then I got to cheap to go to the garden. You spend $100 on tickets and then another $200 on new clothes to wear, t-shirts and some drinks and kettle corn and tell me you’ll pay fucking $10 for a beer. Not gonna happen, so I sat for the concert. Low and behold he sings some songs that I can actually stand. But the best part of his concert was his DJ. Man, this is one guy I’d love to go party with. He was crazy and I loved him. He came out before the concert started to get us all jacked with other songs. Big mohawk, tux jacket (tails of course) and a kilt. Yummy, love a man in a kilt. ;) So we are jacked up and then Akon comes out and of course all the girls are going crazy, blah, blah, blah. I didn’t really start getting interested though until he took off his shirt. thank you, you know how to keep a girls attention. ROFLMAO

So we finally get to Gwen. What can I say? I wish I’d had the money to buy earlier so I could have been up front. She is much more beautiful in person and she sings live even better than her albums. That’s so unheard of. I was dancing with the guy next to me for most of it and then my daughter finally loosened up and we were singing and dancing. That’s right, Momma didn’t raise no stick in the mud, let’s dance baby! Gwen and her girls danced throught the whole damn concert. man was I impressed. Then I got the confirmation I’ve been waiting, hoping, praying to the goddess for. She’s getting back with No Doubt after this concert tour and they will be back with another album. Oh thank you , thank you. I do love the dance Gwen, but I miss my No Doubt so much. And that means a concert will follow to promote the CD don’t you think? ;) I’ll be waiting impatiently by the computer for those to go on sale.

She even came out in the audience for a song. Up in the middle of the covered area (outdoor concert) to be with her many girls. I simply love Gwen. She seems like such a real person that truly appreciates all that she has achieved. Boy I can’t wait for the new album and to see her in concert again. This time as herself with the guys, not this role model she needs to be with her dance music. lol I want her to let her hair down and go crazy on stage like the old days. Ahhhh, they haven’t even done the CD yet and I’m jonesin’ for the thing. lol

K, enough of that. I’m downloading the Zune software to my laptop finally. It’s killing me not to have my music out her on the back porch. Oh yeah, well love me or hate me baby! ;)

Scary movies- bug

Posted by: queen of all : Category: movies

I love edge of your seat type movies. The one’s that scare the crap out of you, but don’t have to do it with a ton of gore. I used to do the gory movies, but I guess I got too old. lol This new bug movie looks to be awesome. This poster caught my attention first.

At first glance it hit me that it was Ashley Judd. I can’t miss a movie with Ashley Judd in it. She’s the ultimate! Then you read the stars across the top and not only is she in it, but Harry Connick Jr.! Yee-freakin-haw! Love to look at him on the screen. lol So of course the poster got my immediate attention and I had to go to the bug movie site and see more. The director also did The Exorcist, so you know they are going to creep us out. I just hope they don’t jump out at me a lot. It drives me crazy to be jumping in my seat all the time.

Once at the bug movie website I watched the trailer and now I really can’t wait to go see it on the 25th. There is just something about bad things happening in everday lives that is creepy in a movie. Although bugs under the skin are going to definitely require some hands over the eyes at the theater. lol That’s so disgusting.

Now the big decision is going to be, will hubby go to watch it with me or do I need to call a friend?

Went to the movies

Posted by: queen of all : Category: movies

We never go to the movies. I mean never! Maybe once a year if we are lucky. It’s so hard to justify $50 in food and tickets to go to a matinee for goodness sake. Especially when I spend $30 a month for video rentals and we have a big screen. lmao But ever since I saw the preview for Ghost Rider I knew I had to go. So we went out today with the kids and saw it. Hubby needed a school work break anyway.

It is a great action flick. They did a great job of making us jump in our seats with the special effects. lmao I hate when stuff jumps out at me. :( Nicolas Cage does a good job playing Johnny Blaze aka Ghost Rider. And of course I always melt for Sam Elliot. That mans voice just gives me shivers. And he plays an old cowboy to boot. Ahhh, gotta love that!

Kids and I are off to snowboard tomorrow. It promises to be another fun day with them. I hope the rest of mid-winter break goes as smoothly. I’m so looking forward to not having to wake up early! Summer is going to be bliss!

Breakfast Club

Posted by: queen of all : Category: movies

I love my 80’s movie’s! Comedy Central is playing The Breakfast Club. I LOVE THIS SHOW!!! I need to order all of the 80’s movies. Some Kind of wonderful, the works.

My youngest can’t believe that Mike D is married to Molly Ringwald. lmao She must not be a big dork like on the show, come on, would he partake?

It’s time for me to buy up all the good old movies and start a collection. Instead of the good newer old movies I’ve been collecting!

Working today

Posted by: queen of all : Category: business, general, movies

Hmm, I’m supposed to be. I had too many errands to run and now I’m off. I did make it into work this morning for a few hours and met a few new people, so that is cool. I’m going to go back in later this afternoon and see if I can’t get some appointments generated.

So today is supposed to be my newsletter. Guess I will run off and do that immediately!

The kitchen is already a mess and that pisses me off. Here I’m working hard at keeping it clean and there is stuff everywhere. lol I’m sure it’ll only take me minutes to tidy it up and a small load of dishes, but still. Then there is the pile of clean clothes that still haven’t folded themselves. lmao They’ll still be there tonight, so no hurry I guess.

I guess another reason I haven’t gotten anything done now that I’m home is that I’m watching The Covenant. lol I haven’t gotten to watch movies in quite a while and I really missed it. I’m not going into the gym for very long on Friday, so I think I’ll watch some others. There has to be some chick flix that I’ve missed. BTW, this movie is pretty good. Especially for a movie that is geared towards teens. It’s not a waste of time and it’s not all gore and no story. Plus there are hot, young guys with their shirts off ;) SO it’s all good! Except for the fact that I’m not getting much done with it on! YIKES

Bloggy New YEAR!

Posted by: queen of all : Category: general, holiday, movies

Wow, a completely sober New Year’s Eve. I can’t even remember the last time that happened on purpose. I mean there was the pregnant year, breast feeding year, then the pregnant year again, then the breast feeding year after that again. I’m sure there was another time in there that I was sick, but can’t recall exactly. lol But on purpose to not have a couple. Some serious self-control there. ;)

Alas I am on day 3 of cleaning. We’ve taken 2 car loads to goodwill and I’m ready to load it back up as soon as he gets home from the gym. We are so boring this weekend. His friends couldn’t believe we didn’t come over last night, but I didn’t want to go anywhere. I’m bound and determined to get this damn house cleaned up. The kitchen is pretty much done now. I need to clean out all the cupboards themselves, but that is just too big a project for me right now. So I’m moving down the hall to the bathroom. I HATE HOUSEWORK! And I seriously hate cleaning bathrooms. My hands feel like sand paper after using chemicals for 3 days. :( Oh well, it will be worth it when I can work on my biz next week with no feelings of guilt.

On a better note, we finally switched the dvd players around so we can watch movies. The one attached to my big screen keeps skipping and stopping. Such a pisser. So hubby switched the bedroom out and we’ve watched Coneheads this morning. Now my kids have put my Strange Brew in and we are watching that. lolol Good grief I need to walk away and getting cleaning done!

Happy New Year!
