We got luckier than I could have hoped. Prom landed on B shift and we didn’t know ahead so he didn’t get it off. BUT, he was able to come home for a couple of hours when her boyfriend picked her up. That was awesome that we knew he could at least see her in person when she was all dolled up.

I know for most that sounds like a nightmare. For me, it was too short.
Now that my in-laws both live in Eastern Washington we’re lucky to see them twice a year. I could easily spend another week visiting both their houses. I miss them terribly and especially since no one’s getting younger.
My stepmother-in-laws health isn’t awesome. She’s doing a great job by going to water aerobics class regularly and seeing her doctors, but she’s more frail each time we see her. If they still lived close we probably wouldn’t notice the decline. But it always slaps me in the face with worry when I first see her again. Dad is so awesome about watching over her and still keeping her 100% independent.
Just for the record, I think I should define close minded.
What it doesn’t mean:
- You have to agree with me.
- You have to agree with me.
- We can only be friends if you agree with me.
What it does mean:
- You actually listen to my side of the argument.
- You consider that I have valid points.
- You don’t nod your head agreeing, while rolling your eyes.
- You actually look at me during the conversation.
My friend Carla asked me to help her out with looking at some website pages and giving her my opinion. Easy enough, I’m pretty full of opinion 
I was with Jafra many years back so she thought I’d be a good unbiased opinion to look at some of the changes. It turned out to be really good timing as I’ve been on the hunt for a new eye cream.
