So how do you like it?

I know it’s darker, but I really like it. I’m going to go through and adapt some of the things and make it my own. Now that I know how to fix things when I break them. Oh wait, that was the easy part, copy the page before you alter it. lol

It’s been difficult to find magazine style themes that will show all the posts. I’m working on it slowly. But I’m very happy that I can now do some of the changes needed on my own themes. Loretta has been doing all of our themes at Easy WAHM Websites and I’m more of the writing part. I need to break out of my graphicly challenged hell and I really want to learn to do all of that. It’s just a very big learning curve for me. lol

So hopefully you will see some very basic free themes coming up here soon.

I’m working really hard at focusing on the positive.  It’s been pure chaos the last week.  It’s not easy, but I swear it’s the only thing keeping me sane right now.  Kids are on spring break this week, so hopefully it will be a little easier to fit it all in.  I’m taking Thursday off to take them to the zoo, so that will help.

We’re also taking off for the weekend in a couple of weeks.  Were going to the ocean, but I think we may borrow my friends cabin instead.  We are just getting caught up on bills and I really don’t want to go blow a few hundred dollars we could put into savings instead.  Plus then we can bring all the dogs with no problems too.

Yesterday we had snow off and on and big flurries of it, but the roads stayed clear and it rained in between.  So we actually had most of our snow from Wed. night melt.

But no worries.  This morning around 8 it started snowing again and for the last few hours it has started accumulating.  Odd you might say?  Yes, completely odd for the Seattle area.  We may get some flurries up here in the hills through mid April, but never inches that stick around.  It’s supposed to snow all weekend.  I have way too much planned for Sat. to have the weather get bad.  But Sunday is fair game, BRING IT!  I refuse to leave my house on sunday anyway.  lol

Spring has hit and we just had our biggest snowfall of the winter.  lol  Too damn funny.  It couldn’t come at a better time.  I only have one morning appt. and I can postpone that easily.  I’m sorry to need to, but happy I can and looking forward to a snowday!  It’s 11:30 and it’s pretty much quit snowing now.  But we have over 4 inches already and my friend was keeping me updated that they have more in town.  SWEET!

Poor hubby is working and that is a lot.  I can feel it.  My friend is dispatch and told me that they had a fatality this evening.  Not a good way to start the night.  But I’m so glad she is there to warn me so I can give extra hugs and love tomorrow when he needs it.

I thought I was just being a wimp but alas I was not.  I had to run the St. Patty’s day dash with a hangover.  Totally my fault, but by afternoon I should have been feeling better.  We had partied the night before and I played with a friends baby all night long.  Well Monday morning I felt really quesy, but I muddled through my 5,5:50 and 6am appointments.  Came home and slept for 45 min, got the kids off to school and knew it would not be a good idea to go to the senior center and hold classes.

I canceled the rest of my day and went back to bed yet again for over 3 hours.  Just so tired.  I felt a lot better in the evening and was all ready to bounce to it the next morning.  I was looking forward to it.  But alas, it wasn’t going to happen.  I didn’t wake up any better.  I never actually got sick, but sure didn’t want to eat anything and am still tired today.

I went to work today and will get some good sleep tonight.  But I’m now really behind.  :(  Hate that!

They are hit and miss aren’t they?  I did go to the doctors office and they couldn’t fit me in for an actual appointment until Monday (it’s wed.) so I chose to go to the walk in clinic.  I got there at 2:30 because I figured that would be after the lunch time rush and before people got off work.  Not for me of course.  I sat in the waiting room for 2 hours.  Thankfully I had stuff to work on in the car so I literally did not notice that it was really that long.

Liked the doc I met with and will probably see if I can schedule my regular check up with him in the regular office.  Of course he said I have almost completely recovered from any infection I had.  Always the case when I do go in.  He said he’d prescribe me something for it if I wanted, but he didn’t think it was necessary.  I don’t remember to take drugs when I do have to take them, let alone when I’m already on the mend.  No thanks.  lol  My lungs were also ok which was my main worry.  My inhaler prescription has been out for over a year so I did need that.  He also gave me coupons for free inhaler and a big discount on refills and enough samples for my allergies to last me 2 weeks.  AWESOME!

So I’m a new woman with my inhaler.  Ahhh, I can now breath in all my favorite allergens more easily.  LOLOLOL

This is one of those weeks. It doesn’t help that I’ve been having allergy problems for the last 10 days and am just so tired. But one thing after another. You know, the little things you can deal fine with when you are healthy, but when you aren’t feeling 100% they just end up piling up on you? lol Luckily I was surfing my favorite blogs and Ami Chan is having the same thing. She posted 3 things to be thankful for this week and I am going to follow in her footsteps. So here goes, they may be small, but they are still thank you’s.

1. Hubby made an awesome dinner last night and we got to use our snazzy pestle and mortar when he made it. lol We are cheesy aren’t we?

2. Tomorrow is payday!!! Can’t wait to go grocery shopping.

3. I got to see my in-laws on Sunday and it was awesome. I hadn’t paid attention that it had been Christmas since we’d seen them. No wonder why I missed them so much! Oh and I got my bday cash from them as well.

Going through my favorite blogs and Ami Chan had the best blog post I’ve seen in a long while. It’s 20 Ways to Maintain A Healthy Level Of Insanity. The things on the list are silly and definitely right up my alley. Hopefully I can do most of them when the kids are around and embarrass the heck out of them.

I didn’t make the dr. appointment yesterday because I was feeling so much better.  But today I am oh so much worse.  It’s totally in my chest and now I am a little worried it turned into bronchitis.  The biggest reason I’m worried is because I’m around a person that is not very healthy and I will stay away from her if it is bronchitis.  If she gets it, then it could turn into something very serious for her and I just wouldn’t be able to live with that guilt.

I don’t have a regular doctor though.  I do have my gyno, but that is not a regular check up.  lol  So now I get to go find a doctor and hope I can trust them when I’m actually sick.  Why do I do that to myself?  I really need to get a regular doctor.  I’m making the appointment at the natural health clinic and hopefully I will like them.  I’m not a fan of prescriptions, so my hope is that I can get better health care at this clinic than a typical office.

Of course right now my hope is they can get me in sometime soon.  I don’t want to get even worse before I get some antibiotics.

Well I know I couldn’t be the only person out there that hasn’t made money on adsense. I know there are many that have made a lot of money. To be fair I really haven’t done good research on it and my ad placements haven’t been the best in the past. But honestly in two years my account is up to like $9. lol This way I should finally get a payout sometime in 2015 right?

When I was introduced to a program that paid per visitor of course I skeptically wanted to know more. I get visitors, they just aren’t clicking the adsense links. Pay Per Play is a brand new advertising venue and I decided to check it out further. I’m game for ground floor opps and I have the patience to see if it will work. I’m not expecting to get rich overnight, although I’d still love to.

Major advertisers have realized that their ads are being seen by less people on tv because so many people are online. They are now ready to fork out the big bucks in order to take advantage of our highly trafficed sites. Pay Per Play has big advertisers such as taco bell, harley davidson, and HBO already partnered and it’s only been launched for a couple of weeks.
