Graduation Denial Rug

I love to live on my yacht on the River Denial. It’s really comfy and luxurious on my yacht. Everyone is always free to join me. The wine, whiskey and chocolate flows. On this yacht I can still eat cheese too.

Some days that yacht is in danger of sinking.

Today is one of those days.

It wasn’t even a big time span which is why the yacht tips and I’m going overboard quick. Momma can only take on so much at once!

First was the texts mid-day.

Manic Monday – School Starts Tomorrow

I think I’m in denial. I have so many excuses for it. Perfect post for manic monday. Tomorrow school starts here.

1. It’s our daughters senior year. Does this really need any other explanation?

2. Our son is a freshman, so moves up to high school. It’s my baby, again no explanation should be necessary right?

3. Son has first high school football game. Ok, I’ll explain a little. I love sports. I bet you didn’t know that right? He’s got our competitive nature. (yeah!) I worry about him having a good game. I know he kicks ass, I just don’t want him disappointed in himself. Goodness, he was so down when the varsity lost last Friday and he didn’t even play!

UGH, Oldest Height

Haven’t posted one of these oldest moments in a long time. lol  But here it is!

My youngest is a little over 12.  I’m sure he’s officially taller than me, but I refuse to measure until tomorrow so I can blog today/nite with no official knowledge that I hit shortest like I always knew I would.

I’m 5’6″.  I’m was shortest in my immediate family growing up.  No idea why as my male cousins are tall, it’s just us female cousins that are shorter than our parents.  WHAT?  There’s a chromosome study ready to go!

1st contacts

I just got my first contacts.  My eyes are still not that bad, but it’s very difficult to play soccer with even the little bit of bad eye sight I have.

So hubby was a sweetheart and contacted our insurance company to get an updated list of those locally that take it.  We’ve only had the insurance for a year now and it’s taken a lot of places, but I’d had major issues finding someone for eye care.
