We got luckier than I could have hoped. Prom landed on B shift and we didn’t know ahead so he didn’t get it off. BUT, he was able to come home for a couple of hours when her boyfriend picked her up. That was awesome that we knew he could at least see her in person when she was all dolled up.

In all honesty it was the first time as well. We’ve gotten off super cheap. Dances aren’t a big deal in our school. In 4 years of high school our oldest has only gone to one homecoming and now her Senior prom. See, we got off CHEAP in that regard. No worries, the two years of wrestling probably made up for that folks.
Today is all about me. And not in the way I usually pretend it is. I mean, like I’m milking it for all it’s worth, all about me.
When I hit 30 I had a 7 year old and my baby was turning 5 the next day. Big birthday for me, big birthday for him. Which will always be the case since he’s turning 15 tomorrow. lol At least we are on the 5′s so when he hits 30 I’ll be 55 and not on a big bday too.
