I’m a sucker

If your child is human or furry, I’ve got sucker written across my forehead. I’m sitting here steaming because everyone around me seems to be ok with just dropping off either with no thought. I’m just not going to go in to detail because I don’t want to. It doesn’t matter in the whole scheme of things. I just need to vent that I have sucker written across my head.

Everyone knows that I won’t turn down a kid that needs a place to stay and obviously now I won’t turn down a certain furry child either that just got left behind. I need to get frustrated enough with myself to do something. But in this aspect I know that I probably never will. Like I told the certain person tonight, it’s not the childs fault. ROFLMAO

There are so many days that these little dogs help carry me through. It gets pretty lonely as I adapt to the kids getting older and not needing me as much, my working and hubby being gone for 24 hour shifts. There have been many times I’ve been blue and their they are. So damn happy to see me like I’ve been gone for weeks and not just walked out of the room for 5 minutes. lol

They aren’t even close to as spoiled as they are going to get. I just bought them sweatshirts and they love them. That’s all the incentive I need. Game on! Hitting doll clothes instead to save money. If they will let me dress them, then I’m gonna just have to do it.

I worry about how my poor Aunt is doing without them. Thankfully she is living down with her hubby now so she won’t be alone very much. But still, these little girls grow on you right away.

Hubby still likes to complain about them and act like he didn’t want them. But they are always curled up on him and you can tell he loves them just as much.

My aunt is moving to San Diego I will miss her so much. I am excited to be able to go and visit her, but she is an awesome Aunt. Thank goodness for cell phones with so many minutes I don’t come close to using them huh?

But the main thing is, she is giving us the girls. She and her husband work a lot of hours and she said the new job will be even more hours for her. She feels that it would be neglectful to take the girls down with her. I’m of two minds. I know how much she is going to miss them, but I knew how much we were going to miss them if she took them with her. lol

So it will be official. The girls will be mine. I am the proud full owner of two little puppies that bring incredible joy to all of our lives.

I haven’t told the family yet. I’m a chicken to tell hubby. I’ve never, ever put my foot down and I know he is ok with it. But this is something there is no argument against and I worry just in case it comes up. I will have these little dogs and even though they add extra work to our lives I need them for how much I am alone here.

My poor Aunt asked that I go pick them up from her son before she gets home. She is down in San Diego right now visiting with her hubby and getting things in order. She doesn’t think she has the heart to say goodbye to them and just wants them to be at our house when she gets home. I understand that totally, why go through the extra emotional issues if you can help it at all? I’m going to grab them Friday or Sat. depends when it’s convenient for my cousin.
