Well I know I couldn’t be the only person out there that hasn’t made money on adsense. I know there are many that have made a lot of money. To be fair I really haven’t done good research on it and my ad placements haven’t been the best in the past. But honestly in two years my account is up to like $9. lol This way I should finally get a payout sometime in 2015 right?

When I was introduced to a program that paid per visitor of course I skeptically wanted to know more. I get visitors, they just aren’t clicking the adsense links. Pay Per Play is a brand new advertising venue and I decided to check it out further. I’m game for ground floor opps and I have the patience to see if it will work. I’m not expecting to get rich overnight, although I’d still love to.

Major advertisers have realized that their ads are being seen by less people on tv because so many people are online. They are now ready to fork out the big bucks in order to take advantage of our highly trafficed sites. Pay Per Play has big advertisers such as taco bell, harley davidson, and HBO already partnered and it’s only been launched for a couple of weeks.

Get in on the ground floor of this innovative marketing idea and see how much you could make from the traffic you already have.

Ordering Promotional Products is at the top of my list for marketing this year. I know how many pen thieves there are out there and I want them to take mine. lol Every one that goes out can get handed to multiple other people. It’s amazing how many people can end up reading my website info from just one pen. Many more than handing out a business card that was not asked for.

Now the cool thing is there are 1000’s of other products that I can order. I need to stock up on some goal congrats items. Tiny bags with my name on them filled with pampering products would be awesome. Or how about the many school auctions? Giving out gift certificates and products in a cool little tote is much cooler than a gift bag or basket. Or get a larger one and they can carry groceries in it. So look how many people will see my business name if it’s making trips to the grocery store and around town?

But it’s getting better.  I have made many lists and now I’m making lists of those lists.  I have dug up how much I am making or not making from each site and the traffic it is bringing in.  Now I am making lists of things that need to be sold off or kept and revamped.  UGH, it will get done I swear.  That and taxes of course.  Jan. sucks.

I’m off to work and hoping for one client tonight.  I am so close to being up-to-date on my bills!  One more month and I’m in the clear.  Can’t wait for that to happen, then I can start setting aside some each month.  Since paying my bills each month is much cheaper than all the fees and late payments!  WOOHOO, can’t wait to be back in that position.

I’ve made calls and worked most of it out and it feels so much better.  Now to get my lists in order.

Coaching in other areas besides the gym is something I have been very interested in. I have been helping many other wahm’s online for the last 8 years. I would love to be able to turn it into money. I have actually taken on one lady as a guinea pig to see how it would work and to try and get some things in place. I’m not charging her of course, just trying to get a feel for it.

But now while I am doing more research I have found business coaching training sites. Hmm, would be much easier to go with a proven method and just run with it. Why reinvent the wheel when I can go with a plan that has 12 years of success behind it. They had a quick quiz to show your strengths and weaknesses.

Franchises are a good way to go if you are unsure about how to start a business or simply know your limitations when it comes to marketing and planning. I’m going to continue my research so I can do comparisons, but right now this postive sounding site is leading the pack.

Everyone knows a pen thief right? One great way to promote your biz is to purchase pens with your company info on them. Especially if you can get a good tag line on it also. In my business I can use many promotional products that still have to do with the fitness industry.

If you have your own business then I HIGHLY suggest checking out Gimmee’s promotional products. There are 1000’s of products and they are cheap enough that you can actually afford to buy them. Quantities start at only 50. In the spring I want to order some of the insulated lunch sacks to give to clients. I’ll include my website info on it and then when they take it to the park or work, my info is there for all to see. As an incentive gift I can include a coupon for a local grocery store so they can purchase lunch stuff instead of going out to eat.

Of course pens are at the top of my list for January. I’m married to a pen thief and this has gotten me some very unique businesses to check out. The cool thing is if he hadn’t brought home the pen, I wouldn’t have known about them at all. lol Also this time of year is popular to give out calendars. You can purchase some of the small calendars starting at 28 cents a piece. Great way to advertise all year long!

WOOHOO, I survived!  This morning was my last early morning until Dec. 26th.  And that may even get pushed farther out.  lol  It depends on if our buddy comes over for Christmas dinner or not.  If he comes over, then there is no way I’m getting up at 4 am.  Although I could possibly still be up.  lmao

I only have sporadic appointments until Christmas and that is cool.  I mean I wish I did have a few more scheduled because then I could possibly get another check for training.  But this way I can wind down for the holidays, get the house cleaned up and plan some good eats.

I will stop in for a while today.  I am just wishing and hoping that I get one more new client before the end of the year.  I know after Christmas I will have better luck.  But again, I want a new check now!  lol

Franchises are hot! And with good reason. The odds of staying in business go up tremendously with the backing of a corporate entity. Buy choosing a franchise you are getting their tried and true business plan. You walk into the business with much less pre-planning involved.

One of the things to look for in a franchise is any and all fee’s that you will pay over the life of the business. Some are crazy high and some are very conservative. Do your research and check out many franchises for the category of business you want to own. Definitely don’t go jumping into the first one you like. Talk to other owners within the franchise. Get some dirt about them. If they are all happy-go-lucky about it, then look for someone else to talk about. There is no such thing as the perfect company. You want to know any issues you are getting into ahead of time so you can plan for them.

The gym I work out of is a franchise and they billing company sucks beyond belief. But the company is the best, so it is worth putting up with the billing company to have the incredible business backing. You know they will get a new billing company sometime soon when everyone complains enough. lol

Research, research, research.

UGH, did I really schedule 3 early mornings this week?  I sure did.  I’m such a sucker.  <sigh>  Tomorrow I get paid for my earliest morning.  She’ll be buying 12 more sessions so that will get me through the rest of the months bills.  Then I can start stressing about next month.  Never ending cycle and it sucks.

Next year is going to be so much better.  I’m going to really kick it into higher gear in Jan.  We have a new fitness challenge starting the end of the month and that brought me a new client when we had the fall one.  I am working up some new flyers in my head and it’s also time for a price increase.  The new year brings evaluations of what worked and didn’t work.  I have a couple of clients that are going to see a big rate hike because they’ve been getting a great deal.  One of them may not stay on because of it, we’ll see.  But the other one gets a lot of side benefits because I call her butt on our in between days and make her work out with me for free.  lol  So she can definitely go just the $5 per session more.  Oh and I have to be a stickler for getting the discounts only if you purchase the big packages.  That’s the reason for the package discounts.  I am way too easy!

My friends and I have had a secret website that we’ve been working on for a couple of months now and we are finally ready for the grand opening. My WAHM Space is officially open to chat about business. Our big grand opening party at Mom Chat’s is tomorrow (thursday Oct. 18th) from 9am EST to around 8 or 9pm . The end time will just depend on when everyone leaves. lol I know I’ll be on late tomorrow so feel free to jump in there and visit whenever you can.
