Well that’s why you are here right? To learn all about me. This site has changed so much over the years. When I started it way back in 2004 I don’t think I knew a single soul locally online. It was easy to post and I got to vent my feelings out, it was the reason I started this blog, I was looking to vent. However, that has changed dramatically over the years. So there are many posts that I have gone back through and switched to private and the feel of the site may be different. However, I can’t hide my personality or views for long.
I love music and movies so you can usually hear about both while visiting. If you ever have some suggestions I’m all ears. I love it when I can find unknown bands or movies that people suggest. I can’t forget all my tv shows either. My DVR runneth over for the fall/winter tv season. Oh and I do love wine so that is starting to run a gamete as well. We have a lot of wineries here in WA so I drive hubby crazy by buying and talking about local stuff.
As the name says, I’m a Busy Momma. I am a personal trainer by trade but only have my senior citizen fitness classes at this time. I absolutely adore them. I have quite a few sites and blogs and I’m working at scaling it down. It’s not easy but I’m getting better. They are listed under sister sites if you want to check out what I do.
I’m thankful the kids are getting older now, but it’s a whole new adjustment. I have one girl and one boy and that is plenty for us. I’ve been happily married to my high school sweetie since 1994 and we are enjoying this new stage of life with the kids being older. It can be rough at times but I’m thankfully that I always have him to lean on when I want to smack someone upside the head. I’m also thankful that I have this amazing guy that is tolerant to my definite views. He helps balance out my ideas and helps me talk things out rationally. Something I didn’t used to do.
I’m all over #earnitamerica on twitter. I’m sick and tired of all the negative. Stop focusing on all the people not working and focus on all of us that ARE! We are the percentage that can make a difference, but are the one’s keeping quite. So how are you earning it America? Let me know below, I seriously want to know. 91% of us are working in Washington state let alone the rest of the country, I want to hear how you are making it work even though it’s difficult.
