31 Day Blog Challenge Update

Posted on 08 May 2009 by queen of all

I am behind even farther. Did anyone following really have a doubt I’d say that? lol Oh wait, you don’t know me THAT well yet ;) I run on Indian time. If I don’t run on Indian time than I claim to run on Island time. Long time family jokes and yes I fit both of them. I am never late for anything because everyone is happy to see me and I make up for it once I get there ;) Plus we never miss a ferry to the Island, we’re just early for the next one. Half full instead of half empty? YEP, you got it. That is me and if you want to be around me for long then you will be in the half full glass as well. I don’t have energy for your negative half empty rules.

Cheer Tryouts

Posted on 08 May 2009 by queen of all

I’m fighting this, but I’m a good Mom. I was unjustly brought up that no daughter of my Dad was going to be on the sidelines when she could be on the field. Period, I know that quote by heart. I didn’t have the option. I had the total talent ( dance since 4 ) to kick butt as a cheerleader and the loyalty for sure, but not the home support.

As such it always came to mind that if she wanted to she could become cheer. Cheer is expensive. $1800 and then all the other expenses as you go through the season. But thankfully after the meeting today I know that they have already had some fundraisers to help.

New Bed

Posted on 06 May 2009 by queen of all

Wow, it’s amazing what a new bed can do for your sleeping. Oh and for your sense of style and decor. Two weeks ago hubby sprang on to me that the local franchise Sleep Country was having a good sale and we should go check them out. We got our first bed there and we’ve been happy with it, we just bought a really cheap bed and it was time to upgrade.
