I work full time at my own business and am a single Mom most days while hubby is training or on 24 hour shifts. Here is where I will bitch, vent, cheer, and share all things. Nothing is very sacred here. lol If you are easily offended, I don't suggest sticking around.
This is a must listen. Yes, there is some swearing so please beware and don’t listen to it if your kids aren’t used to the “f” word. It’s used just a couple of times. Typically on my site here I’d just spell that out, but I am putting this link up on twitter and other places so I don’t want to offend some of my followers. lol Just thinking of your sensibilities on this post alone cause everyone needs to watch it.
The holidays will be here before we know it. Let’s plan ahead for the holidays and enjoy them. I know hubby and I were already talking about Thanksgiving and I’m honestly looking forward to Christmas this year and doing it up huge with family and friends. It’s time to celebrate all our loved one’s and how much they mean to us. BUT, I do not want to run around the whole time and not enjoy myself. Here comes my timely answer!

If hubby didn’t have to go to the work he loved so much we could so move here! Let it be known, this is exactly what we want to retire to. I’ll post the pic when I’ve uploaded, the view is amazing from my Aunt’s balcony.
But that is not all. My Aunt’s hubby, can’t call him uncle personally as he’s only 10 years older and I was an adult when they got together. We’ve had a blast going to USC campus, hollywood and then beverly hills! I’m ready to hit hollywood again because I’m trashy and want my pic taken with Capt. Jack!
Tomorrow is the day finally. We’re on a plane to my Aunt’s house in Redondo Beach, CA. Totally excited to get our first true family vacation.
Laundry is almost done, dishes are caught up and ready to go after breakfast dishes are put in. It’s only 10:30 here but I think I’m off to bed so I can get up early in the morning and finish everything up. Our good friend is living with his mom right now since the divorce (still making house payments while she lives there, another post, lol) so he’s going to house sit next week and take care of the dogs. Hunting season opens in the morning so I’m also going to have the teenager come over during the day and weekend while he’s at work and hunting. I’m still stressing out about leaving my babies behind, but it has to be done. :( I’m going to miss them lots.
I will have hubby grab me signs stating this. I will continue to do more research on many topics for and against both sides as I do like to know my facts. But Stop, Drop and Blog put together an incredible post that really sums up some major key factors on how this election can affect our fire dept. families.
Do your research and make an informed vote. Nothing is more scary to me than ignorance.
I did check this email out on snopes.com when I got it. It had a link at the bottom and I realize that things like this will be both sided because of political reasons. But I honestly (embarrassed to admit) did not know that it was this bad for the first women suffragists. This would have been me back then and I would have gladly gone through anything for us to get the rights we deserve as fellow humans on this earth.
So take into consideration that it is not a chore to vote, it is a right that was fought for and not that long ago either!

For one thing I’m sure he’s been worried about me. We don’t show it, I try not to show when I’m worried about myself. lol So I have not tapped into his feelings about all of my new medical issues and right now I am feeling bad about that. I’m very thankful that he is surrounded now by a bunch of “hardass” guys that he can vent to about his worried cause the softies worry about their women too. lol
The day finally arrived and the event passed. I had to go on liquid diet as of noon yesterday and the hardest part of that is watching all the food commercials and smelling the families food. lol By this afternoon my stomach was really growling. But instead of actually being hungry it was more the fact that I couldn’t eat. Amazing how the mind works, tell me I can’t do something and I immediately must. lol
