100 things about me

Oh boy, this is going to be pretty difficult. I don’t like to talk that much about myself. I know it may not seem like it on here, but seriously lol. So Alyssa twittered that she just made her post and I’ve seen some others do this post. It is my time to try and get it done as well.

Hmm, maybe the reason I’m doing it right now is because the weather has turned icky, I lit candles at 9am and we will make stew when hubby gets home from fishing and stops at the grocery store. Oh and I seem to not want to work yet on some projects. Sounds like a good plan to do this instead.

So let’s start! Some of these won’t come as a surprise to everyone. 100 things about me…
1. I’ve been married to my high school sweetie for 14 years.
2. I have 2 kids, one boy and one girl.
3. I’m a brunette.
4. I’m 100% american mutt (native american, irish and german)
5. I’m a certified personal trainer.
6. I still play soccer.
7. I have a turtle that doesn’t get as much attention as she should
8. I’m a horrible housekeeper cause I don’t like it.
9. I have a green thumb unless it’s weeds. Those I can grow like you’d never believe!
10. I grew up in a very negative household, even though it was all leave it to beaver like. Thankfully I realized it and broke out of the negative cycle.
11. Hubby and I grew up on opposite ends of town, on the same street! WEIRD cause we didn’t know each other until jr. high since we had different elementary schools.
12. We live just 12 miles from where we grew up.
13. I was a coffee barista for over 14 years. STILL MISS IT!
14. I teach a senior citizen fitness class and it is the highlight of my work. Love them and love watching them progress at 70 and 80!
15. I am addicted to all things caffeine.
16. I drive a gold suburban.
17. My longest commute is 10 miles to the next town for seniors class 3 times a week.
18. My main commute is 5.5 miles.
19. My favorite flower is a star gazer lily
20. I have a zune not an ipod. IT KICKS BUTT!
21. I have 1 brother, 2 years younger.
22. My Mom had a home daycare when I was growing up. So I grew up with hundreds of little brother and sisters to play with.
23. My favorite author is Anne Rice.
24. Helping other Mom’s is my passion. With fitness, business, or life.
25. I gained 70 pounds with my first kid and over that with the second. I didn’t look at the scale at OB appt’s, just cried.
26. Since I am in the service industry, I can’t live without my planner.
27. I’m a textaholic.

30. I am co-owner of 5 websites.
31. I own another 9, plus a couple of blogs that don’t get updated much. (looking to buy a site?)
32. I have domain buying issues. Hence the start of Easy WAHM Websites. Buy domain, build site, sell site. lol
33. My parents are still together.
34. I love reality shows.
35. It’s on my bucket list to be on a reality show. BB or survivor
36. I am a total movie junkie!!!
37. My favorite color is green.
38. I’ve had a thing for fire trucks way before hubby and I got together and well before he ever became a fireman. lol Fate…YEP!
39. I’ve barely left my state. Making my third trip to Cali ever in october.
40. October trip will be only my third time on a plane.
41. I hate having to wear shoes, but socks are the worst.
42. I barely wear any make up. Therefor do not know how to apply it very well anymore. lol
43. I don’t count Canada as being out of country or even as leaving my state. My family lives up there and it’s 2.5 hour drive. Been there LOT’s of times. lol
44. My first real job was at McDonald’s.
45. I moved out 2 days after graduation. Moved in with boyfriend (hubby) while he went to summer school at our university.
46. I’ve never lived on my own.
47. Besides hubby going off to college my senior year, the longest we’d ever been apart was 2007 when he was away at Fire Academy.
48. I met my best friend at 8, but alas after having kids we are not close anymore. When parenting styles are so different, it’s difficult to keep friendships.
49. I’ve made the most incredible new friends in the last 2 years. Honest and truly remarkable friends that for ONCE in my life will be there no matter what and come to my aid whenever called. It’s inspiring to be that close to other women. I’ve never had that as I have mostly guy friends cause I can’t take the drama!
50. I LOVE BEING IN MY 30′S!!!

52. I love fast cars, hence I do not think I could ever own something with real power. lol
53. I seriously love muscle cars.
54. My dream car would be a 1968 Dodge Charger.
55. I collect fairies, the cute realistic looking one’s. Not cheesy one’s.
56. I dislike breakfast and could eat the same thing everyday. lol Homemade egg mcmuffin sandwiches.
57. My parents have a little farm and we get fresh eggs all the time. Can’t stand store bought, bleh.
58. My parents owned a cafe when I was preggers and the kids were little that I managed before and while they owned it. That was fun!
59. I used to be an avid cross stitcher.
60. I love to crotchet, but don’t have time.
61. I was a scrapaholic and still have the scrapbook room to prove it, but when I went to school and started working full-time I lost track of it.
62. I love shorts!
63. I am not a jewelry girl. I wear the same sentimental earrings every day.
64. I am really good friends with my mother in law!
65. I could travel the country with the great online friends I have.
66. I am musicly uninclined. Even though I truly, truly love music.
67. I’m an excellent cook, but find it hard to find time. Recipe’s are only a starting point.
68. I rarely change purses. If I do then I can’t find anything. lol
69. I am a borderline insomniac. If hubby isn’t home I have for force myself to go to bed.
70. I get up at 4am for some of my training appointments.
71. I don’t know how I lived before my laptop. Get so much more work done now.
72. I’ve been blogging since at least 2004.
73. I am non-religious, but love a good discussion about it.
74. Thing I like about my personality the best is I’m open-minded. I love to learn from others and see why they have their beliefs.
75. My husband is my best friend and I can’t imagine (hate to think of it) life without him.
76. I am an excellent listener. BUT, this also makes me more private than I should be and not share when things are bothering me.
77. My favorite movies are The Lost Boys and Chronicles of Riddick. I watch chronicles at least once a month. lol
78. I love scary movies, not just gory, but scary.
79. My youngest now watches some scary movies with me! Fun times bonding and laughing at stupid parts or jumping off the couch together.
80. I will be 40 when my oldest graduates high school!
81. I will be 43 when the baby graduates!
82. I hate bra’s.
83. I like to mountain bike, snowboard and play soccer. Going to try skiing this season.
84. I had a full ride volleyball scholarship and turned it down to go to university with my boyfriend. (now hubby, so it was the right decision )
85. I have endometriosis, but thankfully I had no issues getting pregnant.
86. I am going in for my first colonoscopy on 10/2. I’ll be posting after. But they want to rule out anything bad of course. Having internal issues that just won’t go away!
87. My kids and I are close to wearing same sizes! I can wear some of my daughters clothes (not pants, lol) and her feet are half a size bigger now. Yeehaw, more clothes.
88. I only buy myself sport clothes, except for emergency occasions I can’t remember the last time I went real clothes shopping. So not good. My family rocks shopping for me on Christmas though!
89. All three dogs are blonde and two of them shed all the time. You have no idea how many dark clothes you have until they have white hair all over them.
90. I LOVE FOOTBALL! Go Raiders!
91. I bought and paid for our big screen tv because I wanted to have a super bowl party. Women are not invited to my super bowl parties unless they are going to watch the game. My new friends do!!!
92. I love being one of the guys!
93. I graduated with my personal training degree with a 3.826. So proud of myself!
94. I always have lists going.
95. I have notebooks full of articles I’ve written and started. I really love notebooks.
96. I got my first gray hair at 31. Now I have quite a few and they are an awesome bright white. When I do let it go gray it is all in certain spots like highlights and will look really cool with my dark hair contrasting.
97. I prefer long hair so I can do ponytails. At 4am I just don’t want to get up earlier to fix my hair. lol
98. I am a procrastinator and dislike this about myself.
99. I love, love, love SUSHI!
100. My Aunt and I are really good friends. I love that I can talk to her about problems with my aunt and know that she is not judging because she loves them too. I inspire to be like her and I think I’m doing a pretty good job.

Look at that! I made it and it really didn’t take me that long.
