Oh the weather outside is frightful

This weather is beyond odd.  We’ve had record snowfall in the mountains and that’s saying a lot because they usually get a lot.  The last 72 hours have seen over 4 feet of snow.  The pass has been closed for days now and no real outlook of when it will be open again.  Every time they open it another avalanche happens and it’s so not worth it.  It took our buddies forever to get home from Idaho.  Typically a 6-7 hour trip to where they were, took them 13+ hours to get home.  But at least they got home.  lol

We’ve had snowshowers off and on all week with some good amount on Monday as I blogged about already.  I think there is another storm coming in, but we’ll see.  I hope it doesn’t ruin the youngest’s bday this weekend.

3 days left til my bday!  7 days until my rockin’ bday party!!!  Wish you could all be there, it’s going to be awesome.
