I work full time at my own business and am a single Mom most days while hubby is training or on 24 hour shifts. Here is where I will bitch, vent, cheer, and share all things. Nothing is very sacred here. lol If you are easily offended, I don't suggest sticking around.
So these are going to end up being kind of long, sorry about that. But it’s been one hell of a week! thank god I’m meeting a friend for a slumber party girls night at her house on sat. I so need it after this crazy week.
It’s been so crazy that i can’t even remember all that has built up each day. I meant to blog about it as it happened because I know that helps, but it was just one more thing in my day that I couldn’t get to.
Not me, but my son’s school bus. Everyone is just fine, it was a minor one. Just couldn’t stop at the light and slid into the car in front of them. I feel really bad for the bus driver. The roads were so bad.
Well I got the call from the receptionist at my gym at 11:10 that the school had called. BIG SIGH. I’ve told them to call my cell phone, the gym has nothing to do with me, I just work out of it. Granted i am friends with them, but it is not their responsibility to call me and give personal messages. But as I was on the phone with them, the health clerk was leaving a message on my cell. Not sure how that happened without me hearing a click.
Coaching in other areas besides the gym is something I have been very interested in. I have been helping many other wahm’s online for the last 8 years. I would love to be able to turn it into money. I have actually taken on one lady as a guinea pig to see how it would work and to try and get some things in place. I’m not charging her of course, just trying to get a feel for it.
WOW, can you believe we are a week into January already? It seems impossible and I now see how older people have alway said it will only go faster each year. Yikes, trying to fit everything in is impossible!
I haven’t gotten through my goals yet and I really need to work on that. They need to make it on paper. Especially the holiday info for next year. Our goal is to get at least one gift a month and store them. There were quite a few people at the station that bought gifts for him and he wasn’t expecting it. That always feels yucky when that happens. Even though you know they honestly don’t expect anything in return.
I’m so damn jealous. My friend went to Vegas and watch the national pro rodeo finals and had a blast. It was just too late for me to come up with the money. All I had to pay for was my plane ticket too darn it. Granted I wouldn’t have gotten into the rodeo, but the whole environment there is just awesome. They had the hotel already paid for.
