I’ve got to be. I can’t get through 5 minutes without wanting to or actually crying. I hate it when this symptom happens. It doesn’t hit all the time anymore. I think my hormone’s may be getting some what closer to being stable. You know the baby is only going to be 10 in Feb. lol Maybe by the time I hit menopause it will be just like it was before the kids?
It’s not helping that I’m here watching a tivo’d special about Reba. It’s CMT Giants tribute to Reba. I loved her songs from her early albums, I’m not familiar with much of her recent stuff. But obviously she was in her 30’s when she was writing that stuff. Damn, I forgot about some of these songs. I’m going to have to get some of the CD’s out and put them in my car. Then I can cry all the time. WOOHOO! There is a major reason I don’t listen to country music much. I end up bawling all the time.
I should have watched the hank jr. one instead. That one wouldn’t make me cry so much. ARGHHH, if my eyes are all swollen in the morning I’m going to be so cranky.
Oh and if you’re not familiar with Reba McEntyre and are in your 30’s I’ve got a song for you to google and listen to. It helps if you were like me and started your family in your 20’s as I did. Go google “Is there Life Out There” and you can cry with me. :) It’s so where I am at this very moment in my life. I don’t wanna leave, I’m just wondering if there’s life out there. Go listen to it and get back to me.

“Is There Life Out There”
Oh, that it is so my song!! I’ve always loved that song and haven’t heard it in so long. I too had my kids young. Although, to be honest with you, I always wanted kids young. But, sometimes I do wonder what I missed between high school and kids. I graduated in May of 1995 and was pregnant by October. BUT, well, let’s just say I have no one to blame but myself
I keep telling hubby that having kids so young and missing out that “in between” time won’t matter because I don’t think neither he nor I will every “completely grown up”. We’re going to be the “coolest grandparents” around. So, we might have missed that “alone time” when we were younger, but, we’ll still be pretty young when we’re empty nesters too
We’re too much alike, lol! I very rarely listen to country music anymore for the exact same reason. I figure, I get depressed enough on my own, I don’t need a song to remind me. Although, if that song was on while I was flipping through, you can be guaranteed I’d be stopping.
This whole post just reminded of another song that is a certain “flipper stopper” and that would be “What Might Have Been” by Little Texas.

So, since you got me going … this is for you:

And one more thing, have you watched the tv show called “Reba”? Sometimes kind of cheesy but I get a kick out of it, lol!
