Cell phone insurance

Ugh, our daughter lost her phone when we were out costume shopping. Of course the battery was running low already and her friends had been driving us nuts in the morning so she had it on silent. Impossible to have someone pick up if they did find it. lol

I was fine, this is why I pay $5.95 a month for insurance right? RIGHT? Can you guess where this is going? Yes, this is why I pay for insurance, but there is still a $50 deductible. WTF? I have paid $357 for insurance on the phones over the last 2 years and still had to pay $50 for the lost phone. Why is that worth it? I could have bought her the envy and still had money left over! I’m not happy about that and I recommend you don’t get the stupid insurance. What a waste of money.

Then I checked the bill and the stupid vcast is still on there. This would be the service that I have no idea how to get to it won’t let me into on my phone. lmao I am not dissing verizon as I love my service, but they add these services in and I don’t know they are on there! At least let me on the service without having to download something from my computer. That’s retarded.

As I’m typing this I am remembering that I forgot to take the insurance off. I only upgraded the account to get the text stuff. OOOPS! brb

That’s one of the challenges with insurance….it always sounds great when the salesperson is pitching the product, but it’s the fine print you have to be careful of.
