Ok, sorry if it’s getting tiring. But, I’ve been going through blogexplosion so much and finding tons of info. So here’s a cute and timely quiz to take. Loved my results!

You’re a girl power mommy! You love to be girly,
but you’re no pushover. Your kids are learning
that gender differences don’t have to mean
gender inequality. You’ve taken back pink, and
you don’t care who knows it!
What kind of a freaky mother are you?

Wow, my family surprised the hell out of me. I got a pearl necklace and earrings. Not to mention the tanning gift certificate. They had me in tears. It was completely unexpected as I’m not the jewelry “girly” kind of woman. lol I love them and I can’t wait to wear them with my jeans tomorrow;) rofl I went tanning and then grabbed movies. Then we spent the day eating nachos made with homemade chili and watching movies while I scrapbooked. Heaven to me! Now to come up with something tremendous for Father’s Day. Any suggestions?

I really liked this quiz. It seemed closer than the normal boxed quiz to.
Let me know what you think.

You’re One Hundred Years of Solitude!
by Gabriel Garcia Marquez
Lonely and struggling, you’ve been around for a very long time.
Conflict has filled most of your life and torn apart nearly everyone you know. Yet there
is something majestic and even epic about your presence in the world. You love life all
the more for having seen its decimation. After all, it takes a village.

Well, I’m excited. I met with the admin rep and it definitely looks like something I want to do. Now I will be meeting with the financial aid people Monday to see if it will work. We can fund this so this is our only obstacle. Poor credit:( Price we’ve paid for me to stay home with the kids most of their early years. Oh well, it was worth it. I will post more next week. I don’t want to jinx anything by posting early.
We had a great BBQ with my parents this afternoon. My daughter made the salads and my son cleaned the bathroom. Hubby cleaned up the kitchen and oversaw it all. What a family! Plan for tomorrow is all day movie marathon or possibly going for a bike ride if the weather clears up. Happy Mother’s Day to everyone!

K, since working 30 hours a week and having control of the house and finances isn’t enough…I’m contemplating going back to school. I’ve been in this place before thinking I need to go get a degree. But tomorrow I’m actually meeting with an admissions rep. After I make a decision I will post. I’m pretty sure I will be going, but making it work is another matter. 40 hours of class time and another 22 of work just overwhelms my mind right now!

I found this post on Girl Pants and just had to follow the link. Nothing surrounding my birthday is ever correct. I must have been born late or something. Give it a try and let me know if it’s closer for you.
| Your Birthdate: February 4 |
| Being born on the 4th day of the month should help make you a better manager and organizer.
You may be more responsible and self-disciplined than you realize.
Sincere and honest, you are a serious and hard working individual.
Your feelings are likely to seem somewhat repressed at times.
The number 4 has something of an inhibiting effect on your ability to show and express affections, as feeling are very closely regulated and controlled.
You are apt to be much more practical, rational, and conscious of details.
There is a good deal of rigidity and stubbornness associated with the number 4. |

I’m so happy it’s here. I’ve got the cleaning bug. Our friends will be here in minutes so I will have to quit, that doesn’t make me to happy. But, I’ve cleaned off lot’s of counter space and even used 409 on them. Nothing like chemicals to make everything sparkly! lol
So, tonight I’m hoping to keep up the cleaning. My mom is coming twice a month to do the bathrooms, vacuum, mop and other odds and ends I never seem to get to. I’m so happy about this. She wants the extra cash and with my working 5 days a week, going to the gym and also working on my sites the house is becoming a disgrace.
Cheer’s to spring fever!
