Busy Momma

How in the world can we get it all done? I feel like I didn’t get anything done because the house is a wreck. I worked on putting away boxes and boxes of inventory and writing it all down so I can put it in the computer tomorrow. (I guess that’s today now, lol)

We have friends coming over for wrestling party on Sunday. I guess tomorrow will be cleaning day. Load the dishwasher and then go to the gym. I can’t wait to have my Mom start coming up to help out twice a month. I really should have had her start this week. She wants the extra cash since Dad is retired now. At least this way I know the housekeeper isn’t snooping. I know my Mom doesn’t want to find anything in my house! roflmao

Well I had quite the scare on Monday. My daughter woke up and felt dizzy. She didn’t tell me this of course. Then we were almost ready to go to school and she was standing in the living room watching tv. All the sudden I hear a big crash. I peak around the computer hutch as I’m getting out of my chair and she is flat on her back. ON THE GLASS COFFEETABLE! Holy shit! Help her up and she is dazed looking and crying of course, she’s only 9. Take son to school, then try to track Dad down because he took the insurance card for his cholestrol screening. Of all the days right?

So, we came home. I didn’t really think anything of it but to let her rest. I’m not the worrying kind, my kids have never really been sick so it doesn’t pop into my head that something major could ever be wrong. I figured just long weekend, too much activity. Which is why I’m good friends with worry warts. lol She tells me that she would be at the hospital right now. Ok, duh, maybe I should be a little more worried [head smack] So off we go for glucos, EKG, the works. Talk to my Dad in between the 2 doctor offices and he mentions how my Mom’s low blood pressure does that to her when she is dehydrated. Well, the princess wouldn’t even try to pee in a cup so we could find out if she was dehydrated. But since their where 2 parties and she hadn’t peed the whole day, it’s a safe assumption she has the same issue as my Mom.

She’s all fine now, Dad loaded her up with Gatorade. lol But boy it sucked to be Momma on Monday. Oh, I forgot to mention I was desperately trying to get ahold of someone to work for me as this is all going on. OIY, what a Monday!

I spent the whole shift working my ass off, making way more drinks than normal and my tips sucked! Enough said. Made me in a pisser of a mood. HMPH

Well vacation went well. Hubby and I had a blast and wish we could move there. But best of all, the kids and grandparents had a great time together. I treasure their relationship as I did not have grandparents that wanted to be so involved in my life. So looks like we will be able to do it again sometime. lol

Now I have to figure out how to fit it all back in. Exercise, 30 hour plus work week, website redesign and updates, new website built, cleaning, mommying and still being a wife. OH, let’s add PMS to the top of that list right now! rofl I guess that’s the price to pay for going on vacation. I’m glad I have the extra hours. I can easily pay for the suburban myself and start stacking money away to go to Leavenworth in a few weeks for the may pole festival. We’ve never been and we know the kids are dieing to see where mom and dad run off to alone. lol

K, I may be one of the only people happy about it being spring break. lol Our anniversary is the 16th and we are heading out of town for 5 days. Grandma and Grandpa are taking the kids and the dogs for the whole time and we will have nothing to do. Yippee, no responsibility! No getting up and making people breakfast, no cooking dinner, cleaning the house, or anything. Ahhh, I can’t wait.

Today was just one of those days. Non-stop, no time to eat, better make a list kind of days. I got most of it done, but unfortunately that meant having pizza for dinner. You know when pizza doesn’t sound good anymore that you have it too much. I better go put the left-overs in the fridge by the way. lol

Tomorrow is busy too, but at least I should have time to clean. I can’t stand the house this messy. It’s so hard to keep it clean when I’m not here. I’ve changed my pile of laundry from a mountain to an actual mountain range. The pile will no longer stay upright, it skids on down the hallway now. I know soon some of it will actually start loading itself into the washer. If I wasn’t such a horror movie junky that might be funny. Maybe King can write a book about us Mom’s daily life and how the chores actually did take over us! lol

WOOHOOO, it was wrestlemania tonight. I love the WWE, hot guys in little clothing. What’s not to like? roflmao So, almost all our favorites won and it was a great night. We all had lot’s of fun yelling at the tv. lol

Now to just catch up on the laundry. OIY, I don’t think my son has any underwear for school tomorrow. Good thing I have a couple more episodes of Sex in the City to watch.

I’m on. Now comes the pain the the neck of switching everything over to other account. What a great pain to have. lol

Ok, now my darn Murphy’s law is kicking in. DSL was supposed to be connected. I could install after 5 pm. Of course in Mommy hours that means if you get started by 6:30 you are doing awesome! So by 7 I was frustrated, close to tears or puking, not sure if one or both. lol Called tech support and they had me do the same thing I’d already done. Nice to know I’m as smart as the next guy;) So, I now have a trouble ticket and am hoping, praying, crossing fingers that it will be fixed tomorrow. Tech guy and I figure they forgot to flip a switch at the office. Just my luck!

So, here I am on dial up and aol still. wahhhhh At least I know how to connect it all back in my sleep. Anyone need their dsl connected? I’ll be right over. I will work for red bulls! roflmao
